Connect Asana to Circleback Assistant to find work and update tasks or projects without leaving Circleback. Assistant can only access information available to the Asana account you connect.
Connect Asana
Go to the Ask page in Circleback.
Select the plug icon next to the message box to open Connectors.
Find Asana and select Connect.
Sign in to Asana and approve the requested access.
What Assistant can do
Search: Search across Asana objects and tasks.
Tasks: Read individual or multiple tasks, list your assigned tasks, create tasks, and update tasks.
Projects: List and read projects, create projects, and read project status overviews.
Project status updates: Create status updates for projects.
Comments: Add comments to tasks.
People and teams: Read your Asana profile and look up users and teams.
Example requests
“Show my incomplete Asana tasks due this week.”
“Create tasks for the action items from this meeting in the launch project.”
“Post a project status update summarizing this week’s progress and blockers.”
Disconnect Asana
Open Connectors from the Ask page, find Asana, and select Disconnect. You can also disconnect it from Settings → Connected accounts.
