Use PostHog with Circleback Assistant

Connect PostHog to query analytics and manage dashboards, actions, and feature flags from Assistant

Connect PostHog to Circleback Assistant to investigate product behavior and maintain analytics or feature flags without leaving Circleback. Assistant can only access information available to the PostHog account you connect.

Connect PostHog

  1. Go to the Ask page in Circleback.

  2. Select the plug icon next to the message box to open Connectors.

  3. Find PostHog and select Connect.

  4. Sign in to PostHog and approve the requested access.

What Assistant can do

  • Projects, users, and schemas: Read project and user details, event and property schemas, and data-warehouse schemas.

  • Actions: Create actions and list, read, or update existing actions.

  • Dashboards: Create, read, and update dashboards; create or update text tiles; add, update, reorder, copy, or move dashboard tiles and widgets; and run dashboard insights.

  • Insights and product analytics: List and read insights, run arbitrary insight queries, and query trends, funnels, retention, paths, lifecycle, stickiness, web overview, and web statistics.

  • Activity: Read insight activity and broader project activity.

  • Feature flags: Create, list, read, and update feature flags; inspect dependencies, status, activity, evaluation reasons, current flags, and bulk keys; test evaluations; and estimate user blast radius.

  • Scheduled changes: Create, list, read, and update scheduled feature-flag changes.

Example requests

  • “Show the signup-to-activation funnel for the last 30 days.”

  • “Create a dashboard for weekly activation and retention.”

  • “What is the blast radius if we enable this feature flag for all users?”

Disconnect PostHog

Open Connectors from the Ask page, find PostHog, and select Disconnect. You can also disconnect it from Settings → Connected accounts.
