Connect your email

Add email context to your meetings and search across all your conversations

Connecting your email gives Circleback context from your email conversations alongside your meetings. This helps in three ways:

  • Full conversation history: see recent email conversations alongside previous meetings with the same people. When you're preparing for a call or reviewing a past meeting, you can catch up on the full history in one place.

  • Better meeting notes: when generating notes for a meeting, Circleback looks at recent email conversations with the meeting's invitees to provide richer context–so your notes reflect the full picture, not just what was said on the call.

  • Search across everything: when you ask the Assistant a question, Circleback searches across both your meetings and emails to find the answer, showing you which sources are relevant.

How to connect

  1. Go to Settings → Connected accounts.

  2. Select Connect on Gmail or Outlook Mail.

Privacy

Circleback accesses your emails on-demand–when generating notes for a meeting or when you ask the Assistant a question. Circleback does not store copies of your emails.

You can disconnect your email at any time from Settings → Connected accounts.
