When you start a recording, you can choose your microphone and other capture settings. The options available depend on whether you're recording from the web app or the desktop app.
The web app can only capture audio from your microphone. If you need to capture computer audio (e.g. audio from others in an online meeting) or record your screen, use the desktop app.
Choosing your settings
Select New meeting from the left sidebar. You'll see the recording screen with a Record button at the bottom. Circleback automatically associates the recording with the calendar event closest to the current time, select the chevron next to New meeting at the top to switch to a different event.
You can adjust your settings anytime before or while recording on desktop:
Microphone: select the microphone icon to choose which microphone to use.
Screen or window (desktop app only): choose a screen or window to record. Select None for audio only.
Computer audio (desktop app only): toggle this on to capture audio from your computer. Recommended for online meetings like Zoom or Google Meet.
