The desktop app can be used to capture online meetings on any platform without the Circleback meeting participant joining the meeting.
Download and install desktop app from circleback.ai/desktop (available for both macOS and Windows).
Open the desktop app and log in.
Select the menu bar icon (macOS) or system tray (Windows) and select Open Record Panel or open Circleback and select New meeting β Record from the top-right.
Choose your microphone, screen, and system audio recording preferences.
Select the record button to begin your recording.
Select Finish to finish the recording.
Automatically start and stop recordings
To automatically start and stop recordings with the desktop app, go to Settings β Calendar β Desktop recording.
When Automatically Start Recording is enabled, recording starts when an app starts accessing the microphone.
When Automatically End Recording is enabled, recording ends at the calendar event end time or extended silence.
Recordings will automatically start only if Circleback does not join the meeting. To record all meetings with the desktop app, toggle off automatic joining preferences from Settings β Calendar.
