The desktop app can be used to capture online meetings on any platform without the Circleback meeting participant joining the meeting.
Download and install desktop app from circleback.ai/desktop (available for both macOS and Windows).
Open the desktop app and log in.
Select New meeting → Record from the top-right and choose your recording preferences.
Select the record button to begin your recording.
Select Done to finish the recording.
Automatically start and stop recordings
To automatically start and stop recordings with the desktop app, go to Settings → Calendar → Desktop recording.
When enabled, recordings will automatically start/end at the calendar event start start/end time with a 30-countdown displayed on the record panel.
Recordings will automatically start only if Circleback does not join the meeting. To record all meetings with the desktop app, toggle off automatic joining preferences from Settings → Calendar.
