Use Circleback in Slack huddles

Connect Circleback to Slack and have it automatically record huddles

Updated over a month ago

Circleback can automatically join and record Slack huddles, giving you the same notes, action items, and transcript you get from any other meeting.

For this to work, participants in the huddle need to be in your Circleback workspace and use the same email address for both Slack and Circleback.

Connect Slack

  1. Go to Settings β†’ General (under Workspace).

  2. Scroll down to the Slack section and select Connect.

  3. Enter your Slack workspace URL (e.g., yourcompany.slack.com).

  4. Continue and copy the provided email address.

  5. Invite this email as a regular member to your Slack workspace. If your workspace uses SSO, invite it as a multi-channel guest instead.

  6. Add Circleback to any private channels where you want to use huddles.

Circleback will automatically join huddles in any channel it's a member of, both public and private.

Huddles in direct messages

For huddles in direct messages, Circleback won't join automatically. Once the huddle has started, select Invite people from the huddle menu and invite Circleback.
