If you're not able to record with the desktop app or web app, here are the most common reasons and how to fix them.

Circleback doesn't have permissions

The Circleback app requires system level permissions to record your microphone (desktop and web), screen (desktop only), and system audio (desktop only). You can give Circleback these permissions through your system or browser settings.

  • Accept the microphone access popup that comes up when recording, or enable microphone via site settings by following the instructions for your browser
