You can record a phone call using your phone's built-in call recording and import it into Circleback. Circleback will transcribe and process the call just like a live meeting, generating notes, action items, and insights.
Record a call on iPhone
iPhone can record phone calls on iOS 18.1 or later. Call recording is available in select regions and languages.
During a call, tap More.
Tap Call Recording. Everyone on the call will hear an announcement that the call is being recorded.
To finish, tap the stop button or simply end the call. The recording is saved to the Call Recordings folder in the Notes app.
Open the recording in the Notes app and tap the share button.
Select Circleback in the share sheet.
Circleback will open and import the recording automatically.
Record a call on Android
The Google Phone app can record phone calls on supported devices. Availability depends on your device, country, and carrier. On other Android phones, the option may be named differently — like Record call on Samsung phones.
During a call, tap Record. Everyone on the call will hear an announcement that the call is being recorded.
To finish, tap Stop recording or simply end the call.
In the Phone app, tap the call in your call history to find the recording.
Tap Share and select Circleback.
Circleback will open and import the recording automatically.
