Import a meeting

Upload an audio or video recording to Circleback

You can import a meeting into Circleback by uploading an audio or video recording file. Circleback will transcribe and process the recording just like a live meeting, generating notes, action items, and insights.

Import on web or desktop

  1. Open the dropdown next to New meeting from the left sidebar and select Import.

  2. Select the audio or video file you’d like to import (up to 2 GB). Most common formats are supported, including MP3, MP4, WAV, M4A, and MOV.

  3. If the meeting is on your calendar, select the associated calendar event. This links the import to the event so you get the right meeting title and participant names.

  4. Select Import.

Import on mobile

You can import recordings to Circleback on your phone from the Circleback app or from anywhere using share sheet. This is useful for recorded phone calls or recordings from other apps.

From the Circleback app

  1. Tap the new meeting button in the bottom-right corner.

  2. If the meeting is on your calendar, tap the meeting name at the top and select the associated calendar event. This links the import to the event so you get the right meeting title and participant names.

  3. Tap in the top-right corner and select Import.

  4. Select the audio or video file you’d like to import.

The recording will appear in your meetings list while it uploads and gets processed.

From any app using the share sheet

You can also share a recording to Circleback from another app — like Voice Memos, Notes, your call recording app, or Files.

  1. Open the recording you’d like to import and tap Share.

  2. Select Circleback in the share sheet.

Circleback will open and import the recording automatically.
